Venus sky Appearance
When plotting Venus appearance in the sky during year and a half forms two imaginary arks at the Easter and Western skies.
It was believed that through these Arks passed the Sun, Moon and other planets and were associate with the supposedly every day death and rebirth of the Sun, actually from where the sun came from the stars sky or heavens and went back.
For such reason it is deducible that these arks were the main inspiration for the two systrum that appear in relation to Hathor worshiping as they represented the beginning and end of life.
At the same time as Hathor’s face represented the whole sky the arks at each side of the sky explains why this “Lady of the sky” was depicted with two cow ears.
As the interior of the cow ears shape like sea shells is possible that the shells also had the same meaning and reason why Sandro Botticelli painted “The birth of Venus” in Florence Italy as a woman coming out of a sea shell.
Because Venus is between Earth and the Sun its appearance in the sky differs from other planets and does not passes over our head like the Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, rather its appearance forms two arks at the Easter and Western skies, normally every day (except when it is to close to the Sun) appears as it goes up an down but during nine month appears in the east and nine month at the west, in ancient time it was thought that they were two different planes.
Its nine months appearances at either side of the sky can be plotted making a secondary ark that shapes like a doors, one at the East and the other at the West; they were though to be the entrance (birth) and exit (death) of the sun moon and the rest of planets from the sky or heavens and back to their source to rebirth again.
